Shower Hour

Bath products are obviously an important part of my shower. There are different types of soap, hair products, and lotions that I like and use for showering and after the shower.

I tend to like a bigger bar of soap to shower with than washing my hands, which is why I like this 5.5 oz bar from Sunbasilgarden. (find her HERE @ Etsy) This ribbed shower bar is called Blooming Tulips and smells like a fresh garden. The colors scream spring, but it's good for anytime of the year. My favorite part is the green layer in the middle, which is sparkly. The smell, lather, and ribbed style of the bar is great. (feels like a massage!)

You can buy this soap on Etsy from Sunbasilgarden.

Because I have thick hair which is also color treated, I need a condition that can handle my hair in the shower. This brings me to my Lemon Cream Aloe Condition from Heart J Creations. (find her HERE @ Etsy) The formula is aloe based rather than water based, so it moisturizes better than traditional conditioners. The bottle itself is on the small side, 6 oz., but it's generous for the price. Her conditioners are usually portioned into 4 oz. bottles, but because of the overstock you can buy the 6 oz. bottle for less. This particular scent is listed on special because too much was made. Get it while it lasts and you can try Lemon Cream in the shower before choosing your own scent, and there are many to choose from!

You can buy this conditioner on Etsy from Heart J Creations while her supplies last.

I love flip flops for hanging around in the house and also for going out when I'm not working in the summer. Problem is, flip flops are not great for your feet unless you like having dry, cracked heels all the time. Bring on the Blackberry Tea whipped body butter I use from LoveLeeSoaps. (find her HERE @ Etsy) This lotion comes in an 8 oz. jar, which is a lot more product that you would think. The scent is close to nice, cold iced tea in the summer and the lotion itself is smooth and thick going on your skin. My feet love this lotion after showering. I can see this being great for winter skin in the coming months as the lotion is full of moisture.

I was lucky enough to score the last jar of Blackberry Tea during a sale, but there are plenty of different varieties to try. (I'm eyeing Cherry Limeade)

You can buy one of these different varieties of whipped body butter HERE from LoveLeeSoaps.
